Hello! I’m Jackson, and this is a place for me on the Internet to publish a subset of what’s on my mind. Writing is a process that helps structure my thinking, and the posts here serve as artifacts from that process.

My research interests currently gravitate toward the engineering of decision support systems in both cyber and cognitive domains. My educational background combines political science, psychology, and computer science. I’m a social scientist at heart, and an interdisciplinary approach productively guides my research decisions as well as my understanding of the times in which we live.

I try to stay updated on certain emerging technologies. I also like to consume anything that reminds me of The Twilight Zone, read speculative fiction, and spend time with my friends and family.
